China, Japan, Korea to Build Faster Patent Application Process

China, Japan, and Korea have agreed to establish a patent examination highway, which will be implemented in Japan and Korea initially, and later on in China. With this system, if a patent application is filed and approved by either patent office, the other one will follow the examination results of the previous one, thus simplifying and accelerating the process of patent application.
